I’m Haoxiang Luo, a third-year Ph.D. candidate with the major of Information and Communication Engineering from the School of Information and Communication Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, advised by Prof. Hongfang Yu and Prof. Gang Sun.

Before that, I obtaied my B.Eng. degree from the Glasgow College, UESTC, which is a join programme between the UESTC and the University of Glasgow (UoG), UK, under the guidance of Prof. Weijian Chen.

At this moment, my research interests are Blockchain, Internet of Things, Networks, Trustworthy LLM, Energy markets, and so on. Also, I am currently a Visiting Student at the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, under the guidance of Prof. Dusit Niyato.

Working Experience

Teaching Assistant

From September 2023 to the present, I serve as a Lead TA in the Information Security course at the University of Glasgow, UK., under the guidance of Dr. Faisal Tariq and Dr. Yao Sun.

From February to June 2024, I serve as a only TA in the Information Theory course at the UESTC, under the guidance of Prof. Weijian Chen, who is the Chair Professor of teaching in our School.

From September to December 2021, I serve as a TA in the Computer Communication Network course at the UESTC, under the guidance of Prof. Jingshan Duan, who is the Chair Professor of experiment in our School.

Research Assistant

From May to July 2022, I worked as RA in Siemens Ltd., China Chengdu Branch to carry out research on edge computing for Industrial Internet of Things.

From July to December 2020, I worked as a RA in Tsinghua Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute to carry out research on Vehicle to Grid (V2G), under the leadership of Dr. Wei Xiao.

From May to November 2019, I worked as RA in Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Power System Wide-Area Measurement and Control to carry out research on Energy Internet under the guidance of IEEE Fellow, Prof. Qi Huang.
